Lawton Bloom

Lawton Bloom is a Managing Director and Principal of Argus Management Corporation. During his career, Lawton has served as interim executive officer, financial advisor, or investment banker to over 100 companies across various industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, health care, consumer products, e-commerce, and media. He has helped companies manage liquidity, improve performance, divest assets, and negotiate long-term restructuring plans and agreements with stakeholders. He also has experience helping companies navigate the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process if necessary.

Notable engagements include leading a consumer products company through the bankruptcy of its largest customer and a transition from brick-and-mortar retail to e-commerce while serving as interim president; advising a media company through asset divestitures and creditor negotiations, ultimately leading to a successful long-term restructuring; and overseeing the $95 million liquidation of a construction company’s real estate assets.

Prior to joining Argus, Lawton lived in Beijing for 2.5 years, working in business development and operations for Unifi Communications, a US-based telecom service provider. Lawton holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an MPA from Cornell University.
